'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release news, updates: new screenshots feature Android 16 and Cell

(Facebook/DBZ.videogames)'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' will drop on Oct. 25.

Following the release of a new trailer last month for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Bandai Namco has unleashed a few new screenshots to give fans a closer look at the new features that will come with the title.

According to WWCF Tech, the photos show customization features that players can explore. Customization in the gaming world is very popular as it gives players more control of how they want their experience to be.

The images also show the interaction between several characters, and gamers are given a closer and clearer look at Cell, Android 16 and Gogeta. There's also some really treasured names such as Mr. Satan and Majin Buu, giving a thumbs up to those who have been wanting to see more of the characters who will be added into "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

In one of the photos, the heartbreaking scene where Future Trunks finds Future Gohan during the aftermath of his battle against Turles is featured. As seen in the trailer, Future Trunks will be devastated after finding his best friend without breath. It is probably the most striking photo of all yet.

As for other names who ring a bell in the ears of those who love the franchise, it is expected that Vegeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form, Super 17, Frieza, Belarus, Broly, Janemba, Bardock, Dodoria and Zarbon among others will be added.

What's very interesting about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is that a player can now join other players in a team composed of up to five members and this indomitable team can come up with a plan that will take down the opposing group.

Meanwhile, players who have not pre-ordered Goku Black are very worried about not having the villain in their gameplay. As initially reported, Bandai Namco will only make Goku Black available to fans who placed pre-orders on the character.

However, a new report by Saiyan Island says the developer has cleared that decision and will make Goku Black a playable character for all. Those who didn't pre-order Goku Black will now be able to get the villain after "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" launches and a paid DLC is announced.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" rolls out Oct. 25 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
