'Dragon Ball Super' episode 76 news: Krillin regains his fighting spirit, fights old foes with Goku
The upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" episode has something in store for Krillin fans. The short and stocky fighter will make a comeback as he and Goku fight some former villains in the franchise.
Krillin remains to be a fan-favorite among the key characters in the franchise. He has been, after all, one of Goku's constant companions along with Bulma Briefs in "Dragon Ball." The bald fighter is still a source of relief for some of the fans, and he is known to never give up.
The character's new motivations are revealed in the recent Weekly Shonen Jump synopses for the upcoming episodes, as translated by fan Todd Blankenship and shared on Twitter.
Krillin's new episode slated for Jan. 29 is titled "Beat the Fearsome Foes! Kuririn's Fighting Spirit Returns!" Kuririn is Krillin's Japanese name, with the latter being the name fans from Western countries know him as.

The first part of the synopsis sees Goku and Krillin train under the Turtle Hermit, Master Yoshi. They have to find a medicine called the Paradise Grass in a scary forest. However, they encounter visions of former enemies like Freeza and Majin Buu, which were extremely powerful villains from "Dragon Ball Z."
Although Goku seems thrilled by the prospect, Krillin gets scared and appears to lose his will. However, something happens in the episode that will make him change his mind.
According to Comicbook.com, the training will set the stage of the upcoming "Universal Survival" saga. This is the most recent story arc in the "Dragon Ball Super" series, which will pin Goku and his friends against even stronger enemies.
However, as the Shonen Jump synopsis indicates, Goku's request for a multiverse-spanning tournament will pave way for very dangerous foes to appear as well.
Fans can watch "Dragon Ball Super" on Crunchyroll every Saturday at 9 p.m. EST, while Toonami will air the English dub on the same day at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim.
