'Days of Our Lives' Nov. 16 episode spoilers: Hope to be sentenced to 25 years in prison
It seems that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is running out of hope as today's episode of "Days of Our Lives" will feature the character getting a 25-year sentence in prison.
According to spoiler reports, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and Chad (Billy Flynn) will be given a chance to speak in court before the verdict on Hope is handed out. Allegedly, Andre will lash out at Hope as he talks about how the death of Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) caused them a great deal of pain.
On the other hand, Chad will try to control his anger as he takes his time to air his grievances over the effects of the death of their father in the hands of Hope. Allegedly, as compared to Andre, Chad will control his words for the sake of Hope's family, although he struggles making sense of what she did, much more accepting it.
However, because of the pain Stefano put Hope through when he was still alive, Justin (Wally Kurth) will appeal to the court to look at Hope's case in a bigger perspective. While there is no denying that Hope made a mistake when she confronted Stefano and shot him, Justin would point out that Hope had been suffering from the torments of Stefano, resulting in her confronting him and accidentally killing him.
While Hope's sufferings in the hands of Stefano do not justify her murdering him, it is said that it will be enough to help her avert death penalty; instead, she will be handed a verdict of 25 years of imprisonment with no possibility for a parole ever.
Despite being able to escape the death penalty, though, it is said that Hope's family will still not be happy as they have been hoping that she will get an acquittal.
"Days of Our Lives" airs over NBC weekdays at 1 p.m.
