David and Victoria Beckham are indeed one of the most fashionable celebrity couples in the industry, and David expressed how he felt about what his wife has achieved in the fashion industry throughout the years.

Beckham recalled his wife's successful transition from being in the Spice Girls to being one of the most adored fashion icons of today.

"I'm very proud of what she's achieved, what she's done. To go from being a Spice Girl [in] the biggest girl band in history then to being respected in the fashion industry that's something that doesn't happen overnight, so to see the scale of what she's achieved and what she's created is special," the retired footballer said in an interview with ITV's Lorraine, as reported by People.

Beckham added that their 15-year-old-son, who tagged along to Victoria's New York City Fashion Week show, feels the same way about his mother's success in fashion, as he looked at the designs that were displayed by models on the catwalk.

"He's very proud of what his mum's achieved as well and I think Victoria is even more proud to have him sat in the front row watching the show," Beckham continued.

As for his personal taste, having a designer wife does have its pros. Beckham says that his wife gives him tips and opinions on what to wear.

"She has opinions to what I wear. I'm my own person so I think if something looks good then I'll wear it but ... When you're in a relationship, when you are married, you trust their judgment and she's got a pretty good eye," continued Beckham.
