'Castle' Season 7 spoilers: David Amann takes over reins for production, Fillion in Guardians
While 'Castle' Season 7 spoilers surface and with the new season to premiere on September 22, there is some commotion within fandom circles after showrunner Andrew Marlowe passed his role to David Amann, a veteran producer on the ABC crime drama series.
Marlowe emphasized delivering Castle is the product of a team effort, where "David has been instrumental."
Marlowe said he will still be around, getting involved, to maintain the magic of the TV series, while he believes there will be more space for him to create new shows, now that "David is taking the reins."
Amann has been part of the Castle's production team from Season 3 onwards. Marlowe's wife Terri Miller wrote Castle episodes, such as "For Better or Worse," the finale of season 6, which finished May 12.
The recently-concluded season has been the show's most watched. Castle Season 7 is set to have 23 episodes.
Prior reports said old villains from the crime TV series will not take part in Rick Castle's wedding day, and Kate will try to find out what causes all of their mishaps. Fans want the two lovers to finally realize their wedding, hopefully in Season 7.
With Amann and Marlowe working hand in hand, together with other crew members and the cast, loyal fans are in for another thrill as Castle Season 7 begins to air this fall.
In the meantime, Castle star Nathan Fillion, who plays Richard Castle, is doing a fun cameo appearance on "Guardians of Galaxy," which he does for his friend, James Gunn, the director of the upcoming Marvel movie.
The latter confirmed his cameo role, and brushed off rumors of Fillion playing a major character in his Twitter post.
