Brad and Dusty are set to play frenemies again as actors Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg have been confirmed to star in the sequel of the comedy film "Daddy's Home."

"Daddy's Home" may not have made as much waves when it was pitted against "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," but it did relatively well in the box office. Ferrell and Wahlberg, who play Brad and Dusty, respectively, are co-dads who competed against each other for the attention of two children.

Brad is dedicated husband to Sara whose previous marriage to Dusty was blessed with two children, Megan and Dylan. Like many stepfathers, it was not easy for Brad to earn the affection of the two children, and as he was getting close to them, Dusty decides to pay his family a visit.

Brad is a good-natured, loving, and responsible radio executive whose strength is in administrative work. Despite his busy schedule, he takes time to drop off and pick up the kids from school and other activities. On the other hand, Dusty is a happy-go-lucky secret service agent who is also equipped with handyman skills.

Dusty's arrival caused some insecurities to Brad as the kids seem to want to be with their father more. On the other hand, seeing Brad with his kids caused jealousy in Dusty who felt that his children is closer to their stepdad.

After some incidents where both try to sabotage and outdo each other, they eventually learned that they can be co-dads. At the end of the movie, Dusty moved to a house across from Brad and was about to start his own family. His new wife also has a child from a previous marriage and the last scene shows the arrival of his stepdaughter's father.

That could hint to what the next installment would be all about, although writer Sean Anders told Cinemablend, "We're trying to keep that last scene a secret. But it wasn't meant as a tease. Only to bring the film full circle. If we did a sequel we'd have to go back to the drawing board to think of something regarding their dynamic."

For now, no other details about the movie have been shared yet.
