'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' episodes 4, 5 spoilers: IRT heads to Tokyo and Paris in new episodes
This week on "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders," the team led by Jack (Gary Sinise) headed to Cairo, Egypt where they solved the murder of an Egyptian-American ex-U.S. serviceman. After finding out that the UnSub was the widow of a victim of a gas attack, the team will now move on to their next case.
Next week, the International Response Team (IRT) will be heading to Tokyo, Japan to help local authorities solve a series of murders which at first look like suicides. Based on the episode trailer, the victims died a violent death; one fell from a building and landed on the roof of a car. Another victim was set on fire.
Jack is determined to break protocol just so he could solve the murders committed by a man who appears to be wearing a surgical mask. CBS has also released several first-look photos of next week's episode, titled "Whispering Death."
The images did not reveal much but it's apparent that the team will be scouting the streets of Tokyo to look for clues. The UnSub can also be seen walking the busy streets of Japan without hesitation. Elsewhere in the episode, Mae (Annie Funke) tries to talk to Clara (Alana De La Garza) and encourage her not to be so uptight and to enjoy herself.
Meanwhile, on the same day, episode 5, titled "The Lonely Heart," will also be aired. In this episode, the IRT heads to the "city of love," Paris. Americans who are living there are being targeted by an UnSub. Not much details about the episode have been shared; the UnSub's modus operandi or the type of victims he or she chooses were also not revealed. Fans will just have to stay tuned next week when the two episodes air back to back.
"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" will air two episodes next week, Wednesday, April 6, with a special time, starting at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
