The next "Clash of Clans" update was rumored to come this September, yet fans were not able to pinpoint a specific release date. But now, the timeframe for the release has been narrowed down to the third week.

According to Mobi Picker, the "Clash of Clans" update is highly likely to arrive in the third week of September. That means players only have to wait for more than a week.

The upcoming "Clash of Clans" September update is also said to be highly beneficial to players with Town Hall Level 11 or below. The previous updates were targeted at players with higher Town Hall levels, so newcomers are getting disgruntled at the imbalance of the game.

Rumored features to come with the said update include the introduction of a penalty system, the details of which remain unclear at the moment.

If the rumors are to be believed, players might also gain the ability to mine gems for free. These gems are the game's currency that can be bought with real money, which can then speed up certain functions in the game or buy virtual goods.

However, iTech Post noted that this might come with restrictions since they are a huge part of Supercell's revenue.

These remain rumors for now as reports suggest that the company is hinting at a non-exciting September update. According to Mobile N Apps, many did not like Supercell's latest blog post as it seemed to be creating an excuse to not do the requested features.

"We know that with a community this large and diverse, not everyone will feel the same way about changes or agree on what's best for the game," reads the post.

It detailed the company's "design values," which Redditor Kelbesq - among numerous others - took as an excuse from Supercell.

"Now they can say 'We are doing X because it aligns with design value Y' instead of 'because reasons,'" said the concerned user.

Players will have to wait until the "Clash of Clans" September update rolls out to see if Supercell really listened to their concerns.
