Supercell announced the upcoming Clashmas limited-time event and the patch notes for the December 2016 gameplay balancing and updates.

Winter is coming and so are the holiday-themed game updates. Supercell recently announced what players can expect from the hit mobile massively multiplayer online game "Clash of Clans" before the year ends.

In the announcement shared through the game's official blog, Supercell explained: "The Clash of Clans team approaches game balance by looking at attack stats and playtesting gameplay changes. ... In this gameplay update, we're bolstering and distinguishing Town Hall 11 attacks. At the same time, we're putting some snap into our more sluggish units on all Town Hall levels."

The new Town Hall 11 attack levels include Barbarian King levels 41 to 45, Archer Queen levels 41 to 45, Clan Castle level 7, Golem level 6, Hog Rider level 7, and Poison Spell level 5. These level adjustments aim to provide distinct level differences from Town Hall 11 and Town Hall 10 and are believed to subsequently encourage "Clash of Clans" players to pursue more resilient attacks.

Supercell further explained, "Clan Castle level 7 is an especially critical attack boost, allowing donation of larger Spells like Rage and Freeze!"

Aside from the additional levels and gameplay balancing, players can also expect to see some cool updates. Supercell made the Poison Spell radius larger as players find it difficult to use in its previous range. 

The December 2016 update also increased Witch damage and hitpoints because as Supercell explained: "Witch still isn't quite where we want her to be. This cautiously optimistic boost focuses more on her direct damage."

Alongside the several gameplay updates, Supercell also introduced the newly installed Events tab. Players are encouraged to regularly check it to be updated on "Clash of Clans'" in-game special events.

Finally, in the same blog announcement, Supercell teased that "Clash of Clans" players should check back soon as they unveil one of the three Clashmas offerings in time for the holidays.
