'Civil War' news: 'America Movie' may crossover into season 2 of 'Daredevil'

(Netflix/Marvel/Facebook)Premieres on April 10 on Netflix.

Marvel fanboys and fangirls alike have a lot to look forward to as the Marvel Cinematic Universe is seemingly going all out with comics, movies, and series. In fact, Marvel is reportedly looking at doing a lot of crossovers and adaptations, with the most popular being the 2016 event movie "Captain America: Civil War" based on the 2006 comics of the same name.

And it seems like "Civil War" is also crossing over to other Marvel titles like the Netflix show "Daredevil."

Moviepilot details why it is possible that "Daredevil" season two just might see the comics "Civil War" bleeding over it, just like in the third "Captain America" movie.

The first reason being that the new "Daredevil" season will see as much superhero pile-on as "Captain America: Civil War." Previous reports have confirmed Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will matter a lot in the second season and he will be joined by Elektra (Elodie Yung), maybe Bullseye, and possibly Jessica Jones and Luke Cage (set to also star in their own Netflix series).

This combination of superheroes and villains all made significant appearances in "Civil War."

Because "Daredevil" season two is launching in 2016, just like "Captain America: Civil War," there is a huge possibility that the events in the movie are going to factor a lot in the series.

Iron Man is pushing for the registration of heroes and Daredevil's (Charlie Cox) vigilante status can throw in interesting crossover story arcs. As Moviepilot points out, it will be very interesting to either see Daredevil deflect this requirement or have him directly be the one of the causes for this requirement.

Also interesting will be to see Punisher see himself as a protector of the registration policy and going after the Daredevil for violating it. If this pushes through, "Daredevil" season two will be a mini "Civil War" of sorts.

All these are mere speculations for the Netflix original series. But with Marvel looking at creating and perfecting the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, these plot lines are not far from impossible.

Stay tuned for further updates.
