(Chicago PD / Facebook)Chicago PD season 3

On the upcoming episode 19, titled "If We Were Normal," of the third season of "Chicago PD," Ruzek feels of Roman's feelings for his former wife Burgess.

The official synopsis from Cartermatt reveals that Burgess and Lindsay investigate a case about a woman escaping from the scene after she stabs a man. They find a young woman carrying a weapon. Turns out, the suspect is a victim of the person she stabbed. She confesses to Olinsky that the man kidnapped her and held her hostage for months. The man tried to erase her identity, while being physically abused. The Chicago PD team searches for the young woman's abductor. Meanwhile, at the station, Ruzek confronts Roman about his feelings for Burgess.

A glimpse of the twisted and bizarre case was shown in the promo trailer for "If We Were Normal." Burgess and Lindsay find a young woman asking for help. Lindsay then tells the team that the woman was kidnapped and chained two months ago. The kidnapper, who ended up in the police custody, denies doing anything wrong to the woman and describes their relationship as "dominant-submissive." The doctor finds out that the victim is pregnant.

Meanwhile, here is the recap of the previous episode, titled "Kasual with a K."

The team headed by Voight, Antonio, and Halstead hunted down a suspect who attacked and kidnapped women. The secret shelter, where the victims were hidden, was revealed to be owned and ran by a public defender who deals battery cases. The woman was badly injured after a shooting incident. The Chicago PD had a very hard time gathering the necessary information regarding the case, so they had to do whatever they could to get it. Voight's group was having a hard time since there was no documentation of the shelter's residents' identities.

"Chicago PD" airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on NBC.
