'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' 'Descent' DLC features: new maps, tweaks, and upgrades added
Game developer Treyarch has finally released "Call of Duty: Black Ops III's" latest downloadable content dubbed as "Descent" which will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. One of the new features that the expansion will showcase is the continuation of its zombie storyline with the addition of a new level named "Gorod Krovi."
The new game segment will still feature the "Call of Duty: Zombies" main protagonist Nikolai as he shoots his way against swarms of zombie soldiers. Aside from the Zombie storyline of the title, new multiplayer maps have been added for players who are into co-op gameplay. The new multiplayer maps are Empire, Berserk, Rumble, and Cryogen.
Moreover, the expansion added a feature where gamers can now search for other players by simply typing in their username. Group membership, on the other hand, was raised to as many as 100,000 players. In addition, probation sanctions were now lifted to gamers who'll be prematurely leaving the game if they find out that they are outnumbered by rival teams.
There's also a new game mode called "Fracture" where gamers will retrieve so-called core files from dead enemies and store them in a place called the fracture site that would earn them points for their team. The game requires players to reach a certain number of points in order for them to win the match.
As for the Specialist, Prophet's weapon called Tempest will only need a single shot to take down a foe provided that either his Kinetic Armor or the Uplink Drone Armor is activated. In addition, the firepower of the shotgun called the Banshii will be a bit weaker against Scorestreaks.
Furthermore, fans may check "Call of Duty: Black Ops III's" website for the complete list of tweaks and upgrades within the game.
The new expansion is now available on all platforms and has an initial price of $15.
