'Boruto Manga' spoilers: Story to focus on young ninjas
Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of "Boruto Manga" in May that is set to focus on the exploits of Naruto's son and his ninja friends.
A one-shot special will be released in April that will be written by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto. After the one-shot special, he will no longer be as involved in the manga series but would remain a story supervisor, according to reports.
The title of the April release will be "The Path Lit by the Full Moon" that will center on the adventures of the new-generation ninja that will eventually lead to the involvement of Boruto. The story, however, will not center on Boruto's background but will reveal the mystery behind Mitsuki's origin. His parents have remained a mystery through most of "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," but it has always been hinted that his parentage will be a big reveal in the Naruto universe.
He has always been portrayed as a good warrior, a strong ally, and a good friend to Boruto, but in certain highlights of the story, he was expected to turn into an antagonist. When it was finally revealed that he is the son of Orochimaru, it is evident that his father has a long history with the Hokage and has had a connection with Naruto and Sasuke.
Fans are on the edge of their seats wondering what role Mitsuki will play in the upcoming manga as the one-shot special will finally detail the "secret origin of Mitsuki." Rumors point out that his pale white skin and yellow eyes make fans wonder if he will follow in the footsteps of his father, or still be the character he's been in the movie. There are also theories that Himawari could be a potential villain based on the events that transpired in a recently released "Naruto Special Gaiden."
The one-shot special by Kishimoto will be out on Apr. 25 and "Boruto Manga" debuts on May 9.
