BLU is ramping up its production of impressive and budget friendly Android smartphones. The Miami-based smartphone manufacturer has just released the Studio Energy 2 and the Energy X.

The first smartphone, the BLU Studio Energy 2, is the successor to the Studio Energy smartphone, which the company released earlier this year. It is now available for purchase on Amazon for $179.

The BLU Studio Energy 2 features a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED display with 720 x 1080 screen resolution and 295ppi pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor, the ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 1.5 GB of RAM. The device has 16 GB of internal memory but can be expanded up to 64 GB via a microSD slot.

For snapping images and selfies, the smartphone has been equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Users can also take HD videos with up to 30 frames per second. 

The recently released smartphone comes preloaded with the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and has 4G LTE capability.

The most notable feature of the Studio Energy 2 is that it comes with a huge non-removable 5,000 mAh battery. Despite the capable battery, the device still manages to stay slim, measuring only 10.1 mm thick. The massive battery will also give users up to 3 days of standard phone usage.

The Studio Energy 2 is available in three colors, Midnight Grey, Ceramic White, and Rose Gold.

Like the Studio Energy 2, the BLU Energy X smartphone can be purchased in Amazon for $109.

The BLU Energy X features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1080 screen resolution and 294ppi pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHZ MediaTek 6580 processor, the ARM Mali-400 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal memory but can be expanded up to 64 GB via a microSD slot.

The budget-friendly device comes with an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. It comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and also features a massive 4,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is also able to keep its slim build, with only 8.9 mm in thickness.

The Energy X comes in two colors, Midnight Grey and Luxury Gold.
