'Bloodline' season 3 release date, spoilers: Will John and Nolan's secrets be revealed?
Netflix's original drama thriller, "Bloodline," returns for a third season with projected 10 episodes sometime next year. However, a lot of spoilers have already been dropped, including the theme of the season.
Fans of the series are curious about the fate of Nolan (Owen Teague) and John's (Kyle Chandler) secret, especially that John is involved in the murder of his own brother Danny (Ben Mendelsohn).
In the upcoming season, more of Nolan is expected to be seen. The previous season saw Nolan formulating the fire that burned Danny's restaurant. However, it is John who got Danny killed. Both relatives have secrets that they desperately want to be buried forever. Season 3 will show whether or not they can maintain the secrecy of the crime they have committed.
The Rayburn family will notice that Danny's son Nolan is slowly becoming like his dad. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Glenn Kessler revealed that even though Nolan wishes not to end up like his father, it seems like Danny's influence will be etched forever in his family and his death cannot even erase it. The showrunner added that the theme of season 3 will still focus on the family.
As for John's destination, Kessler said that John's epiphany in season 2, which is to get out of the place he was stuck in to become what he wants to be for himself, will awaken his desires to pack up and leave.
He continued, "A third season will pick up on that idea and what John does with that [and how it affects the family] now that he's taken the action that he's never been able to take in his life: Slough off his responsibilities to the family and look out for himself."
Netflix has not announced the official release date of "Bloodline" season 3. However, according to speculations, it will most likely return next year.
