'Basketball Wives LA' update: Jackie Christie is apologetic about her actions
In the recent episode of "Basketball Wives LA," things got a little heated between several cast members.
Jackie Christie arrived at the aftermath of a fight between Meghan James and Brandi Maxiell. After Meghan accuses Jackie of not defending her, Jackie decides to spit on Meghan. The two cast members then get into a fight of their own.
In a recent interview with The Jasmine Brand, Christie took the time to explain what had happened that led to the fight.
Jackie had felt that too many misconceptions had been made about her since the beginning of the show, "A lot of lies were said from season one and I'm just over trying to fix it," she said. Her blunt nature also leads others to misunderstand her. "That's just the way I am and I don't think I'm ever going to change it," she added.
Regarding the spitting incident, she felt that Meghan had been asserting some things that were not true. "Quit putting these stigmas on me, cause I ain't did nothing to you guys, so when she kept saying that certain thing she way saying... I warned her like 10 times 'You gonna say it one more time and there's going to be a problem,'" she recounted.
It seems that Jackie hasn't gotten over the incident just yet. Jackie met up with Malaysia to discuss what had happened.
"I mean I was angry and I was in the moment and it was like it had built and built and built. It was like 45 minutes of taunting," she recounted regarding the incident.
Jackie also apologized for her actions. "I'm sorry about that. It was wrong. Nobody deserves to be spit on."
Unfortunately, it seems that her relationship with Meghan has been significantly affected. "She doesn't mean anything to me," she responded.
"Basketball Wives LA" is currently airing its fourth season. The show airs every Sunday at 9/8c on VH1.
