Audi has unveiled the exclusive and one-of-a-kind A8 L Extended. The long luxury sedan, based on the A8 L, was specifically made to order by an unnamed European customer. It features an extended wheelbase that provides more spacious interiors.

In terms of dimensions, the A8 L Extended is 6.36 meters long and comes with a 4.22-meter wheelbase. It is 1.09 meters longer than the standard A8 L sedan. To accommodate for the additional length, the entire A-pillar was reworked to create a harmonious roof line.

Despite its larger size, the A8 L Extended comes with a significantly low weight. It was built using the Audi Space Frame architecture that uses lightweight materials like aluminum. The side sills, center tunnel, roof, and other compartments all feature aluminum sections. Audi also ensured that the extended luxury sedan comes with the same torsion and rigidity as the A8 L.

The Audi A8 L Extended comes in a discreet Moonlight Blue exterior color. It is also equipped with 19-inch wheels with a 15-spoke design.

The extended length of the A8 L Extended leads to a very spacious and comfortable cabin. The six-door sedan comes with a six-seat setup. All seats are upholstered with luxurious Valcona leather in Velvet Beige. The second and third rows come with adjustable seats. The third row also features a continuous center console, the Rear Seat Entertainment display, and a cool box.

Under the hood, the Audi A8 L Extended is powered by a 3.0-liter TFSI engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 324.5 lb-ft. of torque. It can go from 0 to 62 mph in 7.1 seconds. The long luxury sedan also attains an electronically limited speed of 155.3 mph. The engine is mated with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission that transfers power to the all-wheel drive system.

While this specific model was custom made for one customer, Audi has revealed the bespoke model has already received additional orders. Audi, however, did not reveal pricing and availability for the A8 L Extended.
