'X-Men: Apocalypse' update: Quicksilver to have much bigger and longer scene, reveals actor Evan Peters

One of the highlight scenes in the previous X-Men film, "X-Men: Days of Future Past," was the Quicksilver fight scene where he beat up many agents in just a blink of an eye. Now, Evan Peters, the actor who plays the role, revealed that in the next movie, "X-Men: Apocalypse," fans will definitely see more of Pietro Maximoff.
Peters, during his recent interview with Collider, hinted that Quicksilver will have a much larger and longer screen time in the next, highly anticipated movie.
"Yeah, Quicksilver does his thing again, in the new film. It's bigger, longer and more detailed. I think it's an amazing sequence that they've put together," the actor told Collider when he was asked if he will get "more cool sequences" like in the previous film.
He added, "Just filming it, I was like, 'Oh, my god!' I think we shot for 22 days of second unit, working on the sequence, which is amazing."
Fans really liked what they saw in his portrayal of Quicksilver in "DoFP" and now, he is hoping that they will also like what they are about to see in "Apocalypse" where he will reprise his role.
"I think it's going to be a fun and enjoyable sequence for people to watch, with Quicksilver running around and doing his thing in slow-mo time. I hope people like it," Peters added.
Unfortunately, though, the actor did not drop any other news or teasers other than his much longer scene. Moreover, there's still no news yet if Pietro Maximoff will change his personality in the coming movie considering that "Days of Future Past" was set in the early 1970s and "X-Men: Apocalypse," as said on Cinemablend, is to take place sometime in the 1980s.
It looks like fans will just have to wait and see if Peitro will still be same happy-go-lucky guy after the few years of time skip between films when "X-Men: Apocalypse" hits theaters on March 27, 2016.
