WWE rumors: Jack Swagger's tweet misinterpreted

Jack Swagger is hardly the WWE star that can cause a stir, seeing how he has been taken off the main storylines and makes occasional appearances.

Just the same, he is still someone familiar to WWE fans, and like most, any word or tweet that comes from him can become a big deal. And he did just that after the WWE European tour, totally throwing off a lot of people who thought that Swagger was leaving the company.

The tweet was misinterpreted by most and was actually meant to say that it was the 'last day' of the WWE tour and not his last appearance.

With that said, the reality of Swagger's career is that he has hardly been involved in any major storylines. One of the most significant appearances he had recently was when he got into a feud with Alberto Del Rio at WWE TLC back in December - a storyline that fell short of gaining attention. Swagger was linked to Del Rio apparently because of Zeb Colter, a former ally who sided with Del Rio.

That match was for the United States title, though it was obvious that Del Rio would not be losing the title to Swagger. After that, not much has been seen of Swagger, who seems to be doing more work off-screen as an ambassador for the WWE.

Swagger was a former United States Championship title holder (2012) and that was perhaps the last time that he was in the limelight. From there, he has been in tag team action (with Cesaro) or has been inserted in low key matches. A look at the future WWE shows renders no plans of a Swagger push with plenty of upstarts ahead of him.

Either way, Swagger could get a bump (hopefully). Regardless, he is still with the WWE and there are no immediate indications that he may be leaving the WWE.
