'Wonder Woman' spoilers, news: Gal Gadot talks about weight gain plan for the role

Actress Gal Gadot had to gain about 50 pounds of fats and muscles to look the way she did in the movie as the famous DC comics character "Wonder Woman."
Actress Gal Gadot was subject of weight criticism when she was first announced to be DC Cinematic Universe's "Wonder Woman." She was thought to be too skinny for the role of an amazon princess but, when the first movie revealing her in character was shown, viewers were quick to notice how fitting she is for the role.
Her first appearance was in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie where many called her the scene stealer. She is currently busy in the standalone film and she will also be reprising her role in two upcoming "Justice League" movies.
To keep her in fighting form, Gadot engages in hours of boxing exercise that she calls one of her favorite workout routines. She also does weight training, cardio exercises, yoga, and Pilates. She is trained by Thomas Bradley and Mark Twight of Gym Jones. Aside from workouts, Gadot also watches the food she eats. She drinks at least 1 gallon of water a day and eats a lot of vegetables and lean protein. She also treats herself to ice cream, chocolates, and burgers every now and then.
Her training and discipline are truly paying off as recently released BTS pictures of her while filming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" are making rounds on the net. She shared a picture on her personal Twitter account as well, which shows her first appearance in costume. The picture was posted on Aug. 25 and it currently has over 4.7k re-tweets and 11k likes.
"Wonder Woman," the standalone movie, will feature her origins and will be shown in theaters next year.
