Girl power is written all over the upcoming 'Wonder Woman' movie as several reports have dropped the name of 'Breaking Bad' director Michelle Maclaren to take the directorial helm for the comic book adaptation.

Maclaren is considered to be one of Breaking Bad's "main directors," having been in charge of 11 out of 62 episodes of the series. She has directed more Breaking Bad episodes than any other director of the hit television show.

Eventually, Maclaren became Breaking Bad's executive producer for the final season, overlooking editing alongside its creator, Vince Gilligan.

Aside from directing one of the most celebrated shows in modern television, Maclaren has also directed four episodes for the critically acclaimed 'Game of Thrones.'

The Canadian director has also been at the helm for directing at least three episodes of AMC's worldwide phenomenon, 'The Walking Dead.' Maclaren has an impressive resume on directing high-standard television shows, but Wonder Woman would be her first big screen directorial debut in case she is selected and confirmed for the job.

The movie will be produced by Charles Roven, who was also responsible for producing 'Man of Steel,' the anticipated 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' and 'The Dark Knight' trilogy.

'Fast and Furious' actress Gal Gadot, who plays the lead role in Wonder Woman, is also expected to appear in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Wonder Woman is scheduled for release date on June 23, 2017.
