Vizio D-Series TV news: Vizio introduces D-Series 4K televisions; Reduced prices start at $600

(Vizio)Just in time for the holidays, Vizio has introduced new models in its D-Series lineup featuring 4K television sets at affordable prices.

In the coming year, it is expected that more consumers will be purchasing their own 4K-resolution television sets. Just in time for the holidays, Vizio has introduced new models in its D-Series lineup featuring 4K television sets at affordable prices.

The Vizio D-Series offers television sets ranging from 24-inches to 70-inches. Only the larger models (40-inch and up) come with the 4K Ultra HD resolution.

The Vizio D-Series television sets feature a 4K display with a 3840 x 2160 screen resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. With Ultra HD resolution, users get incredible clarity and powerful performance. Vizio's 4K sets provide four times the resolution of Full HD television sets and twice its pixel height at 2160p. There are also 8.3 million screen pixels.

Vizio has equipped its latest 4K sets with the VM50 Ultra-HD picture-processing engine that helps sharpen screen content. With this engine, images are always clear and detailed. The Vizio Spatial Scaling engine also automatically converts HD and FHD resolution into 4K UHD resolution.

The television sets also come with Clear Action 240, which helps reduce motion blur when screening fast-moving content like sports or video games. They also come with a 120 Hz refresh rate to ensure that picture quality is always smooth and authentic.

To provide an immersive sound experience, the Vizio TVs also come with two built-in 10W speakers with DTS StudioSound.

The Vizio D-Series televisions are also SmartTVs, which are equipped with a V6 six-core processor, specifically a quad-core GPU and a dual-core CPU. They are equipped with the Vizio Internet Apps Plus and Wi-Fi connectivity so that users can easily stream content. Users will have access to Netflix, Xumo, iHeartRADIO, Vudu, Hulu, Spotify, Pandora and Facebook.

Vizio has also recently reduced prices on its new D-Series televisions.

The Vizio D-Series 50-inch was originally priced at $729.99, but is now at $599.99. The Vizio D-Series 55-inch, originally priced at $879.99, is now at $699.99. The Vizio D-Series 58-inch initially cost $1,049.99, but is now sold for $899.99.

The Vizio D-Series 65-inch, however, is still priced at $1,299.
