"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is one of the most anticipated games in the community since it will feature the last adventure of protagonist Nathan Drake.

It was just toward the end of February that the game's official release date was announced to be on Apr. 26. Fans got all excited since it won't be a long wait for the game's arrival. However, just last week, Naughty Dog has once again announced that the game's release date will be pushed later to May.

In a blog post found on PlayStation Blog, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America Shawn Layden wrote that Naughty Dog's upcoming "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has been postponed two weeks later and the game is now expected to arrive on May 10.

Layden also explained that the developer is already wrapping up the production for the game. To make sure that Nathan Drake's last expedition will meet the expectations from its fans worldwide, the company has decided to postpone the game "to allow for extra manufacturing time."

It is expected that many of those who have been patiently waiting for the game got disappointed by the news. Even Layden himself admitted that the news might put off some fans, but he gave assurance that the game would be "phenomenal."

The team behind the game is confident that after a series of delays, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will be worth the long wait.

As expected, the announcement was either accepted by fans or regarded by others as just unacceptable. One user named wazza09121977 commented on the blog post, stating that having a delayed game that turns out to be really fantastic is much better than getting a rushed game earlier but is plagued with bugs and glitches.

On the other hand, there were also those who just found the repeated delay as "completely fallible and absolute horrendous," as stated by user name WLMRT_SP3CL. According to the user, it only shows that Naughty Dog has poor time management skills.

Whether some fans will still be supporting the game or not, many are hoping that this would be the last announcement from Naughty Dog and Sony about the game's delay.
