'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' release date news: New trailer released, spotted using 'Assassin's Creed' artwork

Naughty Dog has dropped a new trailer for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" yesterday, but was immediately taken down after Ubisoft noticed that the trailer contained an art concept taken from "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag."

Azaïzia Aymar, "Assassin's Creed" head of content, called out via Twitter to Naughty Dog about the issue. "Woooow Uncharted 4 using one of ACIV artwork in their trailer... I get the "thief" title now!" Aymar wrote. Naughty Dog was quick enough to take down the video and replace it with a new one without the artwork in question.

The developer also issued an apology on their site, taking full responsibility for the "regrettable mistake" that they've done.

Despite the issue, it can't be denied that the freshly released trailer is one of the most beautiful trailers in the gaming world. The significance of the story is that "A Thief's End" will be Nathan Drake's final adventure.

Sony intends not to reveal much with the footage, but it's easy to pick up that the new game title will feature events following "Uncharted 3." Nathan, who is already retired from his professional thieving and treasure-hunting job, will once again embark on his last adventure.

He will also be reunited with his long-lost brother, Samuel, whom everyone thought was dead. The brothers' reunion serves as an opportunity for producers to tell a unique story about Nathan.

"It's a way for us to get into Drake's past," producer Neil Druckmann was quoted while visiting Naughty Dog offices. "This is someone who knows things about Nathan Drake that no one else knows." As seen on the trailer, Nathan and Samuel are featured in a series of flashbacks.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is one of the most anticipated games of this year. Druckmann wrote in a post on PlayStation.Blog that it is the team's "most ambitious game to date." Even the team at Naughty Dog is excited for fans to finally get their hands on their game.

After many delays, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" finally gets a release date, which is Apr. 26, exclusive to PlayStation 4.
