UFC Rumors: Does Chuck Liddell stand a chance against Jon Jones?

Chuck Liddell has been out of MMA action for some time now, but even at 46 years of age, the Hall of Famer is ready to mix it up with anyone who wants to settle a beef.
The person that Liddell wants to settle the score with is Jon Jones, who is set to return to the Octagon following off-ring issues. He will be facing Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 this coming April 23.
Liddell is known for his vicious knockouts but has retired since. But the fire in the "Iceman" is apparently still there and he is ready to fight again if such calls for it.
Had Liddell and Jones met in their primes, the Hall of Famer believes he can defeat "Bones". But even if he is already aged, he believes that he can still manhandle Jones if given the chance.
How did this all come about? Blame it on social medium Twitter where Jones made an offending statement that got Liddell's goat.
The two came face to face at the UFC where Liddell told Jones to address his issues with the legend personally. With reference to the Twitter rant, Liddell says that he could have at least tagged him so he could respond.
Liddell adds that he isn't impressed with Jones' fighting style but adds that such doesn't mean "Bones" is not a good fighter. He discusses most of that and his issues when he was interviewed on "Inside MMA". The video can be viewed below.
For now it remains to be seen if the UFC would be interested in making that match happen. The focus right now is for Jones vs. Cormier so if ever Dana White does consider it, such could happen afterwards.
Jones has made a living getting under the skin of other fighters in various ways and apparently such has sparked a flame inside Liddell.
