'Transformers 5' movie spoilers: Michael Bay teases fans with 'The Last Knight' new villain, Onslaught; Hot Rod in

(Facebook/Transformers)New character Hot Rod is reportedly Bumblebee's brother-in-arms.

The Autobots are up for another trouble on the horizon in form of a green Western Star tow truck, no less.

Michael Bay took to this Twitter account and revealed a new villain in the upcoming installment in the Transformers' universe. Bay announced that Onslaught, the leader of the Combaticons, will be included in the franchise's fifth installment. He tweeted, "Nothing can prepare you for Onslaught."

The tweet has also included an image that showed the character's alternate mode—a seemingly serene Western Star tow truck. For the uninitiated, Onslaught is a tactical leader who connives with the other members of the Combaticons, a subgroup of the Decepticons, in order to form Bruticus. Meanwhile, the Decepticons are slated to be reunited with their leader Megatron in the Last Knight installment.

In related news, Bumblebee's brother-in-arms Hot Rod has been officially included in the upcoming entry. The character appeared on the film's official Twitter account. The feed indicated, "Hot Rod: This is no cartoon. #transformers."

In the image, Hot Rod was visually portrayed to be sporting a metallic gray frame with larger, automobile-inspired portions that are also encased in a glossy black coat. With the red embellishments, Hot Rod is clearly a sharp-looking, highly-stylized robot.

Further, Hot Rod's personality can be broken down to brash, slightly arrogant and also a protector. Transformers enthusiasts would know that the young Autobot has taken over as Rodimus Prime right after the death of Optimus Prime. Among his accomplishments, his first major triumph was when he defeated the nefarious Unicron.

The presence of Hot Rod in the upcoming entry has also led to some speculations that Unicron might very well be making his debut in The Last Knight.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and the recently cast Oscar-winning Anthony Hopkins. The fifth installment will debut in cinemas on June 23, 2017.
