'Toy Story 4' Update: Cast Revealed, Plot to Focus on Romance of Buzz & Jessie; Woody Looks for Bo Peep

"Toy Story" fans cannot wait anymore for the fourth installment of the series. And though it is not hitting theaters anytime this year, there are some official details already that came from Disney. According to a report by Cinema Blend, "Toy Story 4" is already in progress as it has writers, a director and a release date already.
The film is expected to be released on June 15, 2018 and it will be directed by "Toy Story 1" and "Toy Story 2" director, John Lasseter, who is also the Chief Creative Officer of Pixar. For its writing team, Disney has tapped "Celeste" and "Jesse Forever" writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.
The cast of characters have been officially announced as well, and as expected, Tim Allen and Tom Hanks will reprise their roles as Buzz Lightyear and Woody, respectively. Movie News Guide also reported that Laurie Metcalf is part of the cast and will be voicing Mrs. Davis, while Annie Potts will be voicing over Bo Peep. Moreover, Bonnie Hunt will reprise the role of Dolly, while Don Rickles and Estelle Harris will play as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, respectively. Jodi Benson will play as Barbie.
As for the plot of the film, MNR Daily reported that the fourth installment of the film will circle around the romance of the characters. The source stated that the film will touch on the romance between Buzz and Jessie, as well as Woody and Bo Peep, who was not seen in the third film. Woody may be looking for her with Buzz in the fourth film and this was hinted by Lasseter during the D23 Expo last year. The fourth sequel will also explain why Bo Peep was not present in the third film. The movie will also start where "Toy Story 3" left off.
