"Total War: Warhammer," the renowned turn-based real-time strategy (RTS) game, released its second expansion pack last Oct. 20, titled "The King & The Warlord," which was received warmly by the gaming community due to its intense storyline featuring the grand battle between The Greenskins and The Dwarfs. Despite the success of the previous expansion pack, it seems like the developers are still hard at work on the next downloadable content (DLC) for the series which will be launched this coming Dec. 9.

The next DLC pack is titled "Realm of the Wood Elves," and will showcase the colorful lives of Wood Elves in the game world. The official Steam page for the upcoming DLC pack for "Total War: Warhammer" reveals some details about the game's story, wherein Wood Elves are placed in the spotlight.

The new Grand Campaign will officially add the Wood Elves Race, the Race-specific currency called Amber, the wonder-based campaign victory condition, two new additional legendary lords called Orion and Durthu, about three new hero units with an impressive level of skill trees, the full Wood Elves army roster, the additional campaign map coupled with the innovative story campaign called Season of Revelations.

The Wood Elves are located in the Wood Elf settlements of Athel Loren, wherein they strive to protect The Great Oak, the first 5-tier building which is needed for a new Wonder victory condition. Furthermore, Wood Elves are also blessed with very nimble and deadly units which are balanced by their relative fragileness.

Furthermore, the new story campaign called, The Season of Revelation will allow players to live the adventure of two of the Wood Elves' Legendary Lords, wherein the heroes are aiming to unite their settlement, Athel Loren in order to deal with a common enemy.
