'Tom Clancy's The Division' Survival DLC release date, news: Rolls out for PC and Xbox One on Nov. 22, for PS4 on Dec. 20

Good news to all PC and Xbox One players — game developer Ubisoft's much-awaited "Tom Clancy's The Divison" Survival DLC update 1.5 will roll out today, Nov. 22. For PS4 players, the update will be available on Dec. 20.
Ubisoft officially announced the release date of the Survival expansion pack's update as well as the complete patch notes on its blog.
According to the official patch notes, "Survival is a game mode offering a more hardcore experience with survival mechanics and permanent death. The game mode hosts 24 players and takes place in a modified version of Manhattan, reusing the whole open world. The game mode is session based, with one game lasting up to 2 hours."
Also, "Tom Clancy's The Division" Survival DLC also features an environment where the players' characters will be tested in different conditions — cold, sickness, and hunger. Apart from enemies, the characters must also survive snowstorms whether or not their weapons and equipment are damaged. The goal is to make it out alive Dark Zone and get whatever supplies you need along the way.
Ubisoft also emphasized the changes it has applied in the gameplay. It is expected to be harder since it has added World Tier 5 bracket, which requires a maximum gear score of 256. Plus, heroic incursions can only be done if the player reaches Tier 5.
Fans of the game franchise will also be ecstatic to learn that there are more gear items in the roster. More named gear items will be added in the Survival Mode or World Tier 5 of "Tom Clancy's The Division" Survival DLC. Ubisoft has also addressed a number of bugs, including the temporary invincibility when using Survivor Link feature and the "weird door."
The next and last expansion pack after Survival, which is the Last Stand, is expected to come out early 2017.
