The first downloadable contents or skin packs perhaps, for the recently launched Ubisoft title, "Tom Clancy's The Division," is now available on Steam and they are called: Marine Forces Outfits Pack and Military Specialists Outfits Pack, and they are currently priced at $5 each.

The Marine Forces Outfits Pack, according to the post, will mostly contain camoflauged-patterned skins, while the other one, the Specialist Outfits pack, will have a different design in the uniforms like an outfit used by an Army Spec Ops, Pilot, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, and a Sniper.

Because of these new packs, many fans are now starting to get worried about "The Division" going down the path of microtransactions. Luckily, though, Ubisoft has recently addressed this concern on their latest letter sent out to PC Gamer.

"In 'Tom Clancy's The Division,' there is no in-game currency that you can buy with real-world money," the statement wrote. "There will be DLC packs available through first party stores containing customization items, but these are optional and limited to items that have no influence on gameplay. An example of this are themed outfits for the agent's customization slots."

Based on the details of these new packs, it seems like only the cosmetics aspect will get affected by the outfits, and it won't have any kind of effect on the actual gameplay—thus saving "Tom Clancy's The Division" from being a pay-to-win game.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has recently announced that the first two of the three paid expansions, dubbed as Underground and Survival, will come out on the Xbox One first, due to the exclusivity deal that the company had struck with Microsoft Xbox.

There is also a major free patch that is set to come out this coming April 2016, which is titled as Incursion that is said to introduce the player trading system, as revealed by the company a few days before the official launch of the game.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on the PC platform.
