'The Blacklist' season 3 episode 7 spoilers: Tom and Liz's reunion interrupted by Ressler; Samar's past resurfaces
"The Blacklist" season three's midseason break is just two episodes away. But before that much needed break happens, fans will see the Keens reunited, if only for a short while, before Ressler intrudes on the moment. Meanwhile, the hunt for a blacklister in episode 7 brings a traumatic experience for Samar to resurface.
Accomplished spy Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) successfully captured Karakurt in episode 6, "Sir Crispin Crandall," but had to pay a heavy price as he was forced to participate in an underground fight club that ended with him killing Sutton. Meanwhile, Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) were able to find The Director's missing friend Andras Halmi and use him to get to a safe deposit box where he has been keeping the money he stole from the Cabal. Red tells The Director to exonerate Elizabeth Keen or he will bring down the whole operation on him that the Cabal would "beg me to kill you to stop the bleeding." The episode ended with a shot of Tom dragging Karakurt off-screen, ostensibly to head back home.
Tom's quest to help Liz continues in episode seven, "Zal Bin Hasaan," and a trailer shows the erstwhile spy talking to Liz on the phone and telling her he wants to see her. When Red hears about this, he tells Liz that it's a bad idea to meet up with Tom. Liz obviously didn't listen and went to meet Tom at their place, the small diner. But their reunion was cut short when Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) catches wind of the meeting and arrives at the location.
It's not known whether Liz's former partner will finally catch her but a synopsis in the "Carter Matt" site indicates that one of her colleagues, Samar (Mozhan Marno), will find his tragic past catching up on him when the task force hunts down a slippery international terrorist. The Cabal, which had already infiltrated the FBI, appears to have gain ground in their hunt for Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader). Tom's plan to exonerate his ex-wife also hits a snag.
A new episode of "The Blacklist" season three will air on Nov. 12 on NBC.
