Enzo St. John might be dead, but it does not mean that the charming vampire will no longer be seen in Mystic Falls in another episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.

In an interview with TVLine, actor Michael Malarkey revealed that he will once again reprise his role before the end of the show's eighth and final season in March.

"I've gone in and done a couple bits here and there," Malarkey said in the interview regarding his return toward the series finale. "It's nice to be able to wrap this thing up the way they've done it, to know this is the end, and to do it justice."

Enzo met his ultimate demise when Stefan (Paul Wesley) ripped his heart out. But Enzo's death will have a bigger impact on Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham), especially since their relationship made her a target of Cade (Wolé Parks). Now that his character is already gone, Malarkey shared to TV Guide that he believes that Enzo managed to influence Bonnie to know her own strength.

The actor also teased that Bonnie will use Enzo's influence on her to face this season's villain in an upcoming episode. "It's more about how he's supporting Bonnie in her fight for that, because she's much more active in that particular fight," he stated in the interview. "And so his role is for her psychological support and really being there for her and helping her regain her own strength and fight as strongly as she can."

Malarkey also teased that the series finale will be filled with all sorts of drama and action-packed sequences. Yet, it will also bring some silver linings for all the characters of the series.

The finale of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will also feature the return of the Gilbert siblings, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). Both actors left the show by the end of season 6.
