'The Vampire Diaries' season 7 episode 4 spoilers: Halloween episode sees the rise of scary Heretic Oscar, Stefan and Caroline spend time at the Heaven & Hell ball
In last week's "The Vampire Diaries" episode titled "Age of Innocence," viewers were given a glimpse into Stefan's past, including his relationship with his first love, Valerie. Viewers were shocked to learn that Valerie was at one point pregnant with Stefan's child. Unfortunately, she lost the child after a violent altercation.
In an all-new Halloween episode airing this Thursday titled "I Carry Your Heart with Me," the residents of Mystic Falls will have a night full of terror and dread after a scary Heretic rises from the dead.
According to the official episode synopsis, Damon is still looking for a way to defeat Lily Salvatore. After an unexpected turn of events, Damon is left to search for a plan B.
Unfortunately, the aftermath of his actions draw the attention of Heretics Mary Louise and Nora. Stefan and Caroline are then forced to spend time with the girls in order to distract them. They will be at the Heaven & Hell ball at Whitmore College.
Enzo will also be looking to uncover what secret Valerie may be hiding.
Meanwhile, Alaric and Bonnie devise a plan involving the Phoenix Stone that may turn their worlds upside down. According to Entertainment Weekly, time is running out on Alaric. He must make a big decision if he intends to use the Phoenix Stone on reviving Jo.
In this season of "The Vampire Diaries," viewers are given a glimpse into two different timelines. In the flash forwards depicting the events set three years from the current timeline, viewers have already seen the fates of Stefan, Damon, Caroline and Tyler.
According to Kat Graham, who portrays Bonnie, her flash forward isn't going to happen until the fifth episode. "We get to see who she basically ends up with, which is very cool. And then you see a current, modern potential love interest coming this season also," the actress told US Magazine.
Season seven of "The Vampire Diaries" airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
