'The Strain' season 2 episode 3 spoilers: Eph discovers Master is sending vampire Kelly after Zach, will the Feelers find her son?
"The Strain" premiered a bone-chilling and highly captivating episode two that finally revealed the history behind Eldritch Palmer and Abraham Setrakian. While the past shed light into their twisted dynamic, vampire, Kelly, started to choose the choicest of Feelers from her group of former blind children. She killed off those who proved to be unworthy and selected only the best Feelers that are endowed with a keen sense of smell.
In episode three, fans will see Kelly using her Feelers to finally find her son, Zach. But the good news is, Eph learns of the Master and Eichorst's devious plan. In the preview clip of the upcoming episode titled "Fort Defiance," Eph is seen testing on his vampire subject and angrily proclaiming that "They plan on sending my vampire wife after my boy" before the scene cuts to a shot of an anxious looking Zach. Will Kelly and her band of Feelers locate her son? It certainly seems so.
Hollywood Hills' official episode's synopsis also states that Eph will continue to struggle with Zach, since the two have been at odds about the state of his mother. Eph is understandably protecting his son but Zach still believes his mother is just sick. The rift teased in the synopsis further stokes the speculation that Zach will finally see his mother.
Apart from the Zach-Eph-Kelly conundrum, viewers will also be faced with Gus and Vaun who are pursuing an attack on Palmer. The badass Strigois will certainly put a dent on Palmer and his continued efforts to shroud New York City with vampires in every street corner. He is also capitalizing on the fear plaguing its unturned residents.
Moreover, Councilwoman, Justine Faraldo, will continue her efforts to implement the extermination policies she spoke of in season two. Her policies will be executed to the remaining boroughs in NYC.
