Following the shocking departure of Tamar Braxton from "The Real" earlier this week, the show has now spoken up about the alleged issues between the host and her former co-hosts.

On Thursday, Braxton opened up to Steve Harvey on "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" wherein fans were able to hear her side of the story. She told Harvey that she had her heart broken by someone she trusted, though she also made it clear that her heartbreak is in no way related to her family.

The host went on to explain that her departure was something she never really expected and unfortunately, she was given no reason on why she wouldn't be returning for the third season.

Meanwhile, the network has finally aired its side on the rumor that Braxton's exit was due to something going on behind the scenes that involved her co-hosts.

A show's representative gave a statement to E! News, saying, "Tamar Braxton's contract was not renewed for reasons that will remain privileged and private, and that are between her and the Studio. However, we would like to make it crystal clear that Ms. Braxton's departure from the show had nothing to do with her former co-hosts."

The statement further explained that the show wishes all the best for both Braxton and her husband Vincent Herbert. 

Despite the release of the said statement, it appears that Braxton is still suffering from the aftermath of her sudden exit. According to Enstars, she broke down in tears and even had her sister, Toni Braxton, come over to console her.

The outlet further says it was Herbert who first received the news of his wife's farewell and it was allegedly due to Braxton's ill relationship with the other ladies.

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Braxton and "The Real" had a mutual understanding of the host's exit as she is preparing for a new show.
