Frank Grillo, the leading actor from the popular suspense movie, "Purge: Anarchy," is now going to return to reprise his role as Sergeant in "The Purge 3."

According to the exclusive report by Variety, Grillo (who also plays Brock Rumlow or Crossbones in "Captain America: Civil War") is in the final negotiation phase regarding reprising his role in the third installment. The exciting news was also announced by the actor himself on his official Twitter account last Aug. 4, 2015.

The third movie, as reported on Variety, is going to be produced by "Transformers" director Michael Bay along with Jason Blum, Sebastien Lemercier, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. James DeMonaco, the original creator of the franchise, is also on board to pen the story, as well as direct the "The Purge 3" movie.

In the first two movies, the plot revolved around a U.S. law that allows civilians to release their inner demons by committing heinous crimes like robbery and murder without any legal consequences or criminal charges. "Purge" as what the people calls it, is an annual event which lasts for 12 hours. There will be no policemen, firemen or any kind of emergency response assistance during the event.

In the last movie, "Purge: Anarchy," Sergeant (Frank Grillo) was on a quest to find and murder the man who killed his only son. However, he was pulled into protecting the four civilians he pitied and rescued, which delayed his plans on taking justice into his own hands.

The production, as reported on Screenrant, will begin this coming September 2015. Unfortunately for fans, nothing much has been revealed regarding the actors and actresses who will return for the third film or even rumors or speculations about the plot of the movie.

"The Purge 3" is set to be released in theaters next year, July 1, 2016.
