'The Originals' season 4 updates: Will Hope grow up to be an evil child next season?
Hope Mikaelson is all grown-up in the promo poster for "The Originals" season 4. But the mysteries regarding the vampire-werewolf hybrid child are still kept under wraps.
The key art that was exclusively posted on TV Guide hints that dark times are up ahead in New Orleans, and it will involve the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley Marshall-Kenner (Phoebe Tonkin). The poster came out with the tag line "Evil walks with us...Always and forever."
In a previous interview with the same publication after the end of season 3, executive producer Michael Narducci revealed that the upcoming season will feature a significant time jump.
He also revealed that the Mikaelsons will feel the effects of the fulfilled prophecy against their family after each members fell.
At the end of season 3, Hayley, Hope, and Klaus' protege Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) were the only ones standing in the family.
Narducci opted not to reveal more details about the plot of "The Originals" season 4, but he revealed in an interview with TVLine that there is a big chance to see traits of Klaus and Hayley in the upcoming episodes of the season.
"She definitely shares her mother's street smarts, but may or may not also display some of her father's temper and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her family."
But can Klaus' siblings Elijah, Freya, Kol, and Rebekah rescue him when "The Originals" return for season 4, in spite of their own failures toward the end of the previous season?
According to Narducci, there is a chance to see Klaus get himself out of the pain-induced coma that he suffered last season. But there is also a possibility to see another person help him get out of his unfortunate circumstance in season 4.
The CW will release the premiere episode of "The Originals" season 4 on March 17, Friday.
