'The Originals' season 4 spoilers, plot: Stefan moves over to New Orleans?

Ever since it was announced that the original series that first gave birth to "The Originals" will end after its eighth season, there have been rumors regarding some characters in "The Vampire Diaries" moving over to greener pastures: New Orleans.
As fans know, there has been a crossover between the two shows in the past. While fans have long been waiting for another crossover to happen, the long wait may finally be over since there are hints that some characters from "The Vampire Diaries, which is ending this year, will appear for the fourth season of "The Originals."
Recent reports suggest that if the highly anticipated crossover won't happen, the spin-off series may end up getting canceled too. On the other hand, hopes are high on the purported move of some "TVD" names from Mystic Falls to New Orleans.
If this happens, the most plausible vampire to make the move would be Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). This is because he has gone over to "The Originals" in the past and some fans even predict that he may become a series regular if he plays it well in the upcoming season of the series.
Another character who may tag along with Stefan is Caroline (Candice King), who may want to settle down with Stefan after their sagas end in Mystic Falls this year. It would be heart-breaking to see the two getting separated again so bringing them both over to New Orleans might be a great idea.
Meanwhile, viewers are excited to see how the new big bad teased in July by TV Guide will come to play in Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) already complicated life. It was also revealed back then that Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) will be the first victim of this "sadistic" vampire."
If this happens, there is a good chance that Vincent, who is always for the good of his people, will turn to the dark side. Will Vincent become another problem for Klaus and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) aside from the new villain?
The CW has yet to announce when "The Originals" season four will premiere.
