Hope (Summer Fontana) needs her father to help her understand the powers flowing inside her in the upcoming season of "The Originals."

As per Game N Guide, it remains a mystery how powerful Hope can become. But as the daughter of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), viewers can expect a lot from her. Hope has grown up in the new installment and five years have already passed since she and her mother left New Orleans. They have the bodies of Freya (Riley Voelkel), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Rebekah (Claire Holt), but not Klaus'. Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) made sure he would not be found when he buried him in some forgotten tomb last finale.

With the passing of time, Hope's power is also expected to become stronger. She is obviously a witch, but with her father a hybrid and her mother a werewolf, there are still a lot of questions on what her identity will be. Hayley alone may not be enough to get her to understand what is happening inside her. Hope needs Klaus but it will take some time to find him. They cannot just return to New Orleans without Marcel learning about them. Hayley's first priority is Hope's safety. The little girl's wish to meet her father will have to wait.

Meanwhile, executive producer Julie Plec has revealed in a recent interview that the fans will see characters from "The Vampire Diaries" in New Orleans quite soon. "TVD" is ending after season 8. Plec said that she is already thinking of possible storylines for the crossover. "The Originals" is actually a spin-off of the CW series. Back then, Klaus was one of the Salvatore brothers' nemesis. He was romantically involved with Caroline (Candice King) and there are still spoilers that claim they will end up together after all this time.

"A thousand percent. One of my goals is to find really exciting and organic ways to combine the universe just a little bit, whether it's a flavor or something more aggressive. There are a lot of really wonderful people that I work with that I'd like to continue working with, so it's certainly not out of the question that we could find ways to integrate them into 'The Originals,'" the EP said in an Entertainment Tonight interview.

"The Originals" season 4 is expected to return midseason 2017.
