'The Originals' season 2 spoilers: Nina Dobrev from 'The Vampire Diaries' to appear as Tatia

'The Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev is set to appear in the upcoming episode of 'The Originals' season 2 as Tatia, a doppelganger who Elijah and Klaus both fell in love with.
Julie Plec, the creator of The Originals, spoke to E! News and said that Dobrev's character sub plot will have huge similarities with her role in The Vampire Diaries, where brothers Stefan and Damon continues to fight for her heart for many seasons now.
Plec added that the Bulgarian-born actress is not the only cast member of The Vampire Diaries that will appear in The Originals.
"There was a character's name introduced a long time ago in season three in association with Klaus [Joseph Morgan] and Elijah [Daniel Gillies] and how they became vampires and a girl that they both loved a long time ago who was the original doppelganger, Tatia. So Nina Dobrev will be visiting The Originals for a nice little storyline in our fifth episode which airs November 3," said Plec, explaining Dobrev's guest starring role.
Many fans are already excited about the news of TVD actors gracing the spinoff show.
"There's a lot of people that could cross over, and when we plan our crossovers, we like to think of the most clever way to integrate The Vampire Diaries mythology into The Originals mythology," added the show runner in the same E! News report.
In October, Hollywood Life released photos of Dobrev on the set of The Originals, rocking a sexy crimped hair.
The Nov. 3 episode sheds light on the beautiful yet tragic relationship of the brothers.
