'The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure' updates: Dylan O'Brien to resume filming in February next year

(Facebook/Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials)It is said that Dylan O'Brien will finish working on his other movie, "American Assassin," before resuming his scenes for "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure."

Almost a year after figuring in an accident that almost claimed his life, Dylan O'Brien is heading back to the set of "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" in February to resume filming his scenes for the upcoming movie.

Contrary to earlier claims that O'Brien has left "The Maze Runner 3" the latest reports claim that the actor is set to return to the said movie two months from now and will continue filming his scenes for the said movie. According to other reports, the actor will just finish filming his scenes for his other movie, "American Assassin," before facing the grinding cameras for "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure."

To recall, it was in March this year when O'Brien figured in a horrific accident that almost caused his demise. According to a report of Sugar Scape, the actor was harnessed to his vehicle while attempting to climb another one in front of him. However, as the vehicle where he was harnessed slowed down ahead the one he was climbing, the actor fell and was dragged underneath it. It caused O'Brien concussion, facial fractures, and lacerations.

Because of O'Brien's accident, the production of "The Maze Runner 3" has been temporarily shelved, and its showing date has been moved to January 2018 instead of February 2017.

Meanwhile, in another O'Brien news, it has been learned that the actor has limited exposure in the season 6 of "Teen Wolf," which the actor is also a part of. In an exclusive report of Hollywood Life, O'Brien's co-star Tyler Posey revealed how he feels that not much of O'Brien is felt and seen on the series' last and final season.

"It is definitely weird. Because Dylan (O'Brien) and I have been literally the only two dudes since the very beginning. It has been me and him, me and him, me and him, me and him! Always, every single day, we would have the same routine... and without him there, I looked around at one point ,and I was filming a scene, and everyone that was in the scene with me was new, and I felt like this veteran, and I was like, 'I really miss Dylan!'" Posey said.
