A plague survivor has set her sights on Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) in the upcoming season of "The Last Ship." Does she mean him harm?

As per Deadline, Sibylla Deen has been tapped by TNT to play the role of Lucia. Lucia is one of the survivors of the plague that wiped out almost the entire human race. She is not your regular woman, though. She is cunning and she is revealed to have a vested interest in what will happen to the world. Lucia is "disciplined but also ruthless and unforgiving and has an ax to grind with Chandler." For some reason, she will target the captain who is being tagged as the savior of mankind, thanks to the role he played in the distribution of the cure.

If Lucia is expecting Chandler to be on the bridge of the USS Nathan James, she will be highly disappointed. He already submitted his resignation letter last finale.

Chandler has decided to leave the Navy following the events that took place concerning Allison Shaw (Elisabeth Rohm). Mike Slattery (Adam Baldwin) will take his place as the captain of the ship. The former XO will lead the team in their future missions to ensure that mankind will not perish amidst new threats.

Meanwhile, Deen is not the only new face that viewers will see in the new installment. According to spoilers, Jonathan Howard will join the cast to play the part of James Fletcher. The character is described to be an agent from the MI6 and a commander from the British Royal Navy. Fletcher will work alongside Slattery and Sasha (Bridget Regan), Chandler's girlfriend who has decided to stay on the ship after his resignation. Then, there is also Jackson Rathbone, who will play the role of a Greek-American playboy named Giorgio.

"The Last Ship" season 4 is expected to start airing in 2017.
