Animation fans who are waiting for the next adventure of the Parr family will have to wait two more years as "The Incredibles 2" is slated to be released in 2019.

The Nasdaq site recently reported that The Walt Disney Company enjoyed a good run at the box office in 2015 and had since come out with an outline for the release dates of its upcoming movies. It seems the company plans to release several highly anticipated animated sequels in the next couple of years. "Cars 3" is set to be shown on June 16, 2017, "Toy Story 4" on June 15, 2018, and "The Incredibles 2" will reportedly see a rollout date of June 21, 2019.

There's no word yet on how "The Incredibles 2" story arc will progress, but director Brad Bird has previously revealed in a Collider interview that he's "probably three-quarters through the script."

"I've got a lot of people that worked on the first one working on it, so we're all having a good time with it," Bird added.

It makes sense to tap the team that had helped make "The Incredibles" the amazing movie that it is. One person who's confirmed to be back to work on the sequel is Michael Giacchino. Coming Soon reported that Giacchino has already signed a contract with the production company, locking in his services to score the upcoming movie.

Another person who's reportedly coming back for another round is Samuel L. Jackson, the voice behind Frozone. The actor previously told Digital Spy that whenever he runs into Bird, he's told that his character is part of the sequel.

The "Avengers" star admitted that the movie could do without Frozone, but he believes that the superhero would be a great addition. But what the actor is really looking forward to is "seeing what Jack-Jack turned into."

Fans will recall that toward the end of the movie, Jack-Jack brought down the villain Syndrome by turning into a creature composed of different elements — fire, lightning, even metal. And with Jack-Jack reported to be 11 or 12 years old in the sequel, fans will no doubt be looking forward to discovering what his super power really is.
