'The Blacklist' season 3 spoilers: Red tries to stop Liz and Tom's wedding in 'Mr. Solomon' episode

After more than a month in hiatus, season 3 of "The Blacklist" finally returns with an all-new episode titled "Mr. Solomon." In the upcoming episode, Liz and Tom Keen prepare for their wedding, but the two will soon realize that they will never outrun their past.
According to the synopsis released by NBC, the upcoming episode will have Red and the team track down tactical nuclear weapons before they are stolen by thieves. Red also risks further damaging his relationship with Liz when he implores her to cancel their wedding. Liz is optimistic about their future together and defends Tom, saying that he has changed. However, Red replies that criminals like Tom will never change.
Despite disagreeing with her actions, Red continues to protect Liz. In the promo, Red and his armed men are seen surrounding the wedding chapel to prevent any possible threat from coming inside and endangering Liz. It appears that based on the episode title, viewers will see the return of Mr. Solomon, the Cabal operative determined to kill Red.
Even without the interference from Red, it seems like a happy ending just isn't in the cards for Liz and Tom. According to Entertainment Weekly, "Tom Keen will soon realize he can't run from his past forever. Tom's former spy handler and mentor The Major returns with some unfinished business that may put Tom and Liz's future together in jeopardy."
The action-packed storylines for "Mr. Solomon" will also continue on to next week's episode titled "Mr. Solomon: Conclusion." According to star James Spader, these two upcoming episodes are very exciting and should not be missed.
"I must say, anybody who has ever had any interest, even the smallest degree in this show, even if one saw the pilot and then sort of abandoned it from that point. But if anyone had a passing interest in this show, boy, 17 and 18 are so crazy. I mean so crazy," Spader told host Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on "The Tonight Show."
Be sure to catch "Mr. Solomon" airing on Apr. 7.
Season 3 of "The Blacklist" airs every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
