'The Blacklist' season 3 spoilers: Red says his final goodbye to Liz in episode 20

Red (James Spader) will say his final goodbye to Liz (Megan Boone) as her remains will finally be laid to rest in the upcoming episode of "The Blacklist."
In "The Artax Network," the promo shows the agent's funeral, which will be attended by her friends in the task force. Red will find himself coming out of his home, which he has not left ever since Liz died, to go and see her. Liz died due to complications of childbirth. She was able to give birth to her baby but her condition deteriorated right after. Before Liz could be brought to the hospital, she had already flatlined.
Red was heartbroken. He blamed himself for what happened. Thoroughly depressed, Red refused to work with the FBI task force and went on a self-exile. Liz' funeral was the only thing that could make him leave his home, but something will come up that will change his decision. In the clip, Cooper (Harry Lennix) is asking him to return to the task force to help them track down the person responsible for Liz' death.
This will mean being in close contact with the father of Liz' baby, Tom (Ryan Eggold). The teaser also shows him being asked by the FBI agent if he "wants to roll around in the mud" and find Liz' killer. Liz and Tom were planning to quit the espionage business and live a new life far away, for the sake of their baby. They were supposed to wed in a small chapel, until goons came to kill them. Tom was the one driving during the accident.
Red spent a lot of time convincing Liz that she was wrong to marry Tom. He told her that her fiancé would always be a crook and it would be wise to leave him. Red has made no secret of the fact that he hates Tom's guts. Tom likewise shares his enmity. Will they be able to forget their personal issues to give justice to Liz' death?
"The Blacklist" season 3 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
