'The Blacklist' season 2 spoilers: Liz investigates human trafficking before being framed by the Cabal in finale

"The Blacklist" has certainly provided fans a rollercoaster ride in season two. Viewers gasped in surprise as Liz saw a mysterious photo in an apartment Red allegedly owned. What secrets lie between them and can Red protect Liz now that she's exposed?
In episode 20 named "Quon Zang", Red will have to neutralize an imminent threat that emerges as a result of the Fulcrum, reports International Business Times. While he figures it out, Liz and her task force will have a new case in their hands. The bodies of dead Chinese-American women start showing up leading the team to discover a human trafficking ring smuggling women out of the country. They use false identities to send these women away from the United States.
But Liz is still plagued with questions regarding the photo. She will be a women in search of answers about the mysterious picture. While the two don't trust each other, the promotional slip for the upcoming episode will see both Red and Liz in some real danger together.
Liz exposed herself when she used the Fulcrum as a leverage to get the National Clandestine Services director to stop shooting at the warehouse where Red was being treated. Now that they know she is working with Red, Liz will become a target. Red is seen telling Liz in the clip that they will destroy her to which she boldly replies, "Let them try". Perhaps the most shocking teaser is that Dembe will be shot stopping these dangerous people.
As the show gears for its final episode of season two, fans can expect an action-packed ending. As per CaterMatt, Liz will be framed by the Cabal, forcing Red to use his connections to clear her name. Cooper receives some shocking news while the task force decides who can be trusted.
Creator Jon Bokenkamp told TVGuide that the finale would also see Liz discovering who she really is. Tom's secrets will be laid bare, giving hope of a rekindled romance between him and Liz. Bokenkamp also teased, "We're going to get a big answer about what happened that night of the fire...and some truths about the nature of her relationship with Red."
"The Blacklist" airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
