'The 100's' creator teases homecomings and mass death are ahead in season 3; Bellamy reportedly has a big moment next season

Production for "The 100" is currently in full swing and series creator, Jason Rothenberg, has his work cut out for him as he teases fans with some updates about the show.
Fans of the post-apocalyptic TV drama have had their hearts broken and their emotions disturbed by some of the violence and massacres that dotted the series throughout its two seasons. Now it appears that viewers have to prepare themselves for more of the same.
Rothenberg's recent Twitter post of "Homecomings, broken promises and mass death" were cryptic but compelling enough that fans have started discussing what the showrunner meant by it. It was easy for fans to assume that season three will see another bout of mass casualties in the same vein as Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clark's (Eliza Taylor) extermination of the people inside Mount Weather. The homecoming and broken promises bit was admittedly more interesting. Does it mean that Clarke will be coming back to the Sky People after she left them at the end of season two?

The tweet came days after the American TV writer tweeted about a big Bellamy moment that left him in tears. The tease caused an immediate furor among Bellamy fans who wanted to know if he was crying because of Clarke or if it was because of the reported death of a major character.
Taking a page out of Rothenberg's book, "The 100's" producer Aaron Ginsburg had previously teased that season three's premiere episode will see the death of a favorite character.
The death of a comrade or a friend is just one of the problems that the people of "The 100" are facing next season. Clarke's absence will certainly be felt by the Sky People and Bellamy will allegedly step up as the leader of Camp Jaha, despite the appearance of the adult Arkers.
There's also the question of where Clarke is headed. Will she join the Grounders as what a still photo of her suggests?
All of those questions and more will be answered when "The 100" returns for a third season next year.
