"Tekken 7" News: Game director reveals details about a new character

Bandai Namco Entertainment released one of their most iconic franchises, Tekken, more than two decades ago and since its debut the title has spawned at least five more instalments in the last twenty years. The last cannon Tekken game, Tekken 6, was made available in 2007 and understandably fans of the game are already getting antsy to get new material. Fortunately for them it seems like the seventh game is mere months from being unveiled and already details surrounding "Tekken 7" have already found their way online.
According to several reports, "Tekken 7" will be having new additions to its gameplay, graphics and visuals owing mainly to the UnReal 4 Engine that was used to enhance the titles overall gaming experience. However more than aesthetic developments, a more in-depth story-line for its characters will be featured in the upcoming game.
Harada the game director and Chief producer for Tekken has since spilled details about their current project. According to Harada, "Tekken 7 " will be introducing a guest character which has never before been featured in any other version of the franchise – at least he is trying to convince Bandai to allow him to.
The story for the new Tekken 7 will reveal details surrounding what pushed Mishima family's Heihachi to kill Kazumi, throw Kazuya off a cliff and hunt Jin down. Also the game is set to unveil the origin of Devil Jin. This game will be having an even darker story than the past Tekken games.
Tekken 7 will be released earlier than the original date. This is because Bandai Namco Entertainment wanted to be ahead of their competition with other fighting games like Capcom's Street Fighter 5. Harada is working hard with the team of Bandai namco Entertainment in perfecting the gameplay features and concepts of Tekken 7.
Tekken 7 is set to be launched in 2016 and will be available for PS4 and Xbox One gaming consoles.
