Fans are getting more excited as the premiere of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" draws nearer with each passing day. Recently, Paramount Pictures has released yet another trailer of the upcoming sequel and it packs a whole lot of punch.

The trailer starts out on a rather high note—it's the Halloween parade and the heroes can roam the street freely. It boasts a lot of action sequences and loads of stunts, including the turtles jumping out of an airplane. It also teases the existence of the purple ooze, which is a substance that can turn humans into mutants. But it is also revealed that the purple ooze can work the other way around and turn mutants into humans. This proves especially enticing for the turtles because they don't have to stay in the dark anymore, except for Leonardo, who stands firm that they were meant to be mutant turtles.

It also teases the two villains who turn themselves into mutant animals—a terrifying rhino and a "little piggy." And of course, it wouldn't be complete without Megan Fox's April O'Neil and Will Arnett's Vernon Fenwick. Stephen Amell's hockey-masked character, Casey Jones, also makes an appearance and it looks like love is in the air for him and April.

The sequel is definitely looking more gripping. Arnett recently spoke with Collider about the upcoming movie and he admitted that the second installment has "upped the ante" with new villains and new characters.

But in addition to the film being action-packed, Fox revealed in a separate interview with Collider that the sequel is "more light-hearted" and "funnier." She also said that the turtles are the main focus of the film as opposed to the humans getting all the attention. Additionally, fans can expect the film to be visually intriguing as Fox described it as a "huge spectacle."

Both Fox and Arnett agreed that the sequel was easier for them since their characters had already been established in the first film.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" will premiere in theatres on June 3, 2016.
