'Teen Wolf' season 6 cast news: 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' star to play big bad in season 6?
It was kind of a bittersweet experience for the fans of "Teen Wolf" as MTV has finally aired the show's finale episode for its season 5. Moving on to a new beginning, recent casting updates cited a new name adding to the growing cast member's list of the series.
According to Deadline, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star Pete Ploszek has landed a major recurring role in the upcoming season 6. The actor, who plays Leonardo in the latest big screen installment of TMNT, is slated to take on the role of a certain Mr. Garrett Douglas. He is described by the media outlet as a "charming, handsome young new teacher, the kind everyone has a crush on."
Other details about the newcomer's character are still being kept under wraps. However, for those who are closely following the show may already know that Beacon Hills High School has some history of hiring educators of suspicious backgrounds. Case in point is Jennifer Blake (played by Haley Webb), an English teacher who, as it turns out, is Darach. Should viewers expect Ploszek's alter ego to be of the same kind?
In an interview with TVLine, series executive Jeff Davis teased that one of the villains Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack will face in the new chapter of their lives is a Nazi werewolf. For those who missed the finale, it was that man who managed to crawl out of the tank where he was held in by the Dread Doctors.
"I can absolutely confirm that the soldier has left the machine and will be a part of season 6, a threat," Davis said.
Aside from the fascist werewolf, yet another mysterious character is expected to appear in season 6. In a separate article, TVLine shared a 15-second teaser clip shows an unidentified man on horseback. The site speculated this could be one of the "ghost riders" that Kira's (Arden Cho) mother had talked about.
Stay tuned for more updates.
